In the Netherlands, a new 149 sqm home is currently under construction, and the choice of building system tells an interesting story.

Our business partner has chosen a post and beam construction because it offers:

The walls are similarly thoughtfully constructed.

Exterior walls? Layered like this: 195×45 mm framing, basalt mineral wool, vapour control, another layer of basalt mineral wool, plasterboard, OSB boards, a layer of wood fibre insulation, a breathable membrane, and finishing touches of cladding. Pe langa casa, se construiesc si doua hambare. Interior walls? Equally meticulous, with 145×45 mm framing, mineral wool, acoustic roll, OSB sheets, and plasterboard.

And that’s not all: two functional barns are part of the project, showing that Ergio brings industrial-grade standards to every element of construction.
